Calvary and Medibank Private have announced that they have resumed formal contract negotiations today in Sydney.
Both parties are pleased to announce that today’s discussions have been fruitful and are ongoing.
“Calvary and Medibank confirm they have today resumed formal contract negotiations, but given the confidential nature of our discussions it would not be appropriate to comment on the specifics of our negotiations,” said Calvary National CEO, Mr Mark Doran and Dr Andrew Wilson, Medibank Executive General Manager Provider Networks and Integrated Care.
Mr Doran and Dr Wilson stated that they have been encouraged by the progress of today’s discussions, the willingness of each party to tackle outstanding issues and a genuine desire to produce mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders involved – be they members, patients, staff or doctors.
