Customers save more than $2.5 million on dental out-of-pockets

More than 270,000 Medibank customers have enjoyed 100% back on a dental check-up at a Members' Choice Advantage dentist since the new network was launched on 1 January.
The introduction of the Members' Choice Advantage network has delivered more than $2.5 million in out-of-pocket savings to our customers.
Chief Customer Officer David Koczkar said Medibank has paid more than $66 million in benefits for customers’ regular check-ups at all Members’ Choice dentists since 1 January alone.
“We launched the new Members' Choice Advantage network in 2019 to deliver customers greater value and a better experience at an affordable cost,” Mr Koczkar said.
“It’s great to see our customers are already gaining an advantage from this, and many dental practices have told us they are enjoying the benefits they can provide to patients too.”
At more than 900 Members' Choice Advantage dental practices across Australia, customers with Extras cover receive:
100% back on two dental checks each year including bite-wing x-rays (where clinically required)
100% back on one mouthguard per year
a high-quality experience at Members' Choice Advantage practices
