Emergency accommodation for pets during the floods in Queensland and New South Wales

Medibank Pet Insurance is stepping up to support flood affected residents across south-east Queensland and New South Wales.

Affected customers can now access emergency boarding for their insured cats and dogs, no matter their level of cover until 30 March 2022.

Medibank Group Executive Customer Portfolio, Milosh Milisavljevic said we want to do everything possible to support our customers and their pets during this difficult time.

“There are cats and dogs out there that have no access to accommodation and that can be very distressing for their owners,” Mr Milisavljevic said.

“We know how much Australians love and care for their pets which is why we want to ensure they get the support they need.

“So, to ensure they have a safe place to stay while their owners can focus on dealing with the floods, we are providing access to emergency boarding regardless of a customer’s level of cover."
