Medibank Private has appointed Kerry Crompton as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO), from April 3rd, 2006.
Kerry has a career in technology and financial services covering 25 years and including a number of leadership roles. Prior to Medibank Private, Kerry spent time in management consulting following three years at Members Equity Bank in both the CIO and Chief Operating Officer roles.
Commenting on the appointment at Medibank Private, Kerry said, "Medibank Private is currently undergoing some major changes in relation to technology. We are renewing business technology systems to ensure we are more efficient, competitive, and responsive to members. I'm looking forward to being actively involved in this initiative and embracing future technology developments within the private health insurance industry."
