Medibank md, george savvides presents at ceda on improving australia's healthcare system performance

Joining Professor Ian Harper and Professor Deborah Schofield, Medibank's Managing Director and CEO, George Savvides presented at the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) on how improved service delivery can improve Australia's healthcare system performance and drive better health outcomes.

George Savvides called for the health industry to work together to address the big issues such as chronic disease and ageing population forecasted to continue burdening the system well into the future as per IGR (2015) and for greater collaboration in primary care so that funding can enable better care pathways for patients with acute care needs.
