Medibank offering Live Better Rewards members $50 to put towards dental out-of-pocket costs

To help customers with cost-of-living pressures and encourage them to visit the dentist, Medibank is offering Live Better Rewards members $50 to put towards dental out-of-pocket costs at its Members Choice Advantage dentists.

Live Better Rewards members who have Extras cover will be able to access the $50 voucher via the My Medibank app during the month of February, and can use it anytime within the next 12 months as long as they hold Extras cover.

Medibank Chief Customer Officer Milosh Milisavljevic said Medibank is continually looking at ways to offer value to customers.

“Our data shows that people are not visiting the dentist as regularly as they should, which would only be exacerbated with current cost of living pressures being felt in the community,” he said.

We already offer 100% back on dental check-ups when customers visit a Members Choice Advantage dentist, and this new $50 reward should encourage more people to visit the dentist in the next 12 months.

“For example, for customers with Essentials Extras that provides 75% back, the $50 voucher should cover most of the out-of-pocket costs for a typical dental filling, depending on how much the dentist charges.

“Visiting the dentist for a routine check-up is one of the best ways to keep on top of your overall health, not just your oral health.”

Medibank has more than 1,000 dental clinics in its Members Choice Advantage (MCA) network across the country. Customers can search their nearest MCA dentist on the Medibank website or in the app.

Medibank Live Better Reward members also earn 1,000 Live Better points when they get 100% back on their dental check-up at an MCA dentist.

Medibank customers with extras cover who are not Live Better rewards members can sign up for free via the My Medibank app and instantly access the $50 voucher during the month of February.
