Medibank is committed to working towards equity in health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The Medibank Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is like a road map that steers us on our journey towards reconciliation and greater equity in health. It is an important part of our organisation, laying out our directions and sharing responsibility across our people.
This action plan outlines Medibank’s commitments to contribute to addressing Indigenous health inequity, with a focus on working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and through a whole-of-community effort.
In July 2016, Medibank successfully completed the objectives in the 2014-2016 RAP and launched its public report that outlines the 22 actions and how they were achieved.
Medibank is committed to playing a long term role to address Indigenous health inequity and will launch its fourth RAP in early 2017.
