Medibank to support customers impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred

Medibank today announced it is providing financial and hardship support to customers impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Medibank has also closed a number of stores in Queensland to ensure the safety of its people. The stores that have temporarily closed are: Brisbane, Chermside, Indooroopilly, Garden City, Springfield, Sunnybank, Pacific Fair, Maroochydore, North Lakes, Carindale and Toowoomba.
Medibank and ahm customers who have been impacted by the cyclone may be eligible for support, which includes suspending their policy for up to two years or waiving their premiums for three months.
Medibank Chief Customer Officer Milosh Milisavljevic said: “We’re here to support our customers in Queensland and New South Wales who have been impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
“Picking up the pieces after a natural disaster is not easy, so we want to take one less stress away for our customers. If you’re a Medibank or ahm customer that’s been impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred and need support, please give us a call.
“We have also temporarily closed a number of our retail stores in Queensland to ensure our people are safe.”
Medibank customers can contact 132 331 and ahm customers 134 246 to speak to someone about hardship support available.
