6 April update: Medibank has today reopened its stores in Brisbane following the lifting of some COVID-19 restrictions.
In response to the Queensland Government’s decision to impose a 3-day lockdown from 5pm today, Medibank will close its retail stores in the Greater Brisbane area.
Medibank Chief Customer Officer David Koczkar said in line with Government restrictions, our people will be asked to work from home until the lockdown ends.
“We will temporarily close stores in Brisbane, Logan, Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Redlands and the Sunshine Coast to protect the health of our people, customers and everyone in the wider community,” he said.
While we are closing 8 stores, we will continue to support our customers through our digital channels and phone and messaging services while working from home.
“We thank our customers for their patience during this time and look forward to welcoming them back in store soon.”
Medibank will undertake deep cleans of all our stores before they reopen.
Customers needing support can find a range of resources at medibank.com.au, in their My Medibank app, or access agent support through web messaging or by calling 132 331.
Customers can also visit the website or My Medibank app to check their local store hours.
