Medibank will temporarily close its stores in Victoria following a 5-day lockdown announced this afternoon by Premier Daniel Andrews.
Head of Retail Andrew Carlson said the store closures is part of the whole-of-community effort needed to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
“We have and will continue to act quickly in response to the dynamic environment brought about by the pandemic,” Mr Carlson said.
“Our first priority through this challenging time is always the health of our people, customers and the wider community.”
While Victorian retail stores will be closed for the time being, customers needing support can find a range of resources at medibank.com.au, in their My Medibank app, or by calling 132 331.
“We encourage our customers to keep reaching out when they need us, with our retail teams diverted to our phone and digital support channels during the lockdown period,” Mr Carlson said.
