Visual content brings medibank community fund's year in review to life

Medibank today launched the Medibank Community Fund 2014 Annual Review in an online interactive format that uses visual content to tell its story.

With an ‘on camera’ introduction from Managing Director, George Savvides, the snapshot of the last 12 months features embedded videos showcasing a selection of community projects that have received Medibank support.

Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Medibank, Rita Marigliani, said the new way of presenting the year’s activities will provide opportunities for different audiences to access the areas that are most relevant to them.

“We’re proud of our story and the support we have been able to provide towards building better community health and wellbeing outcomes across a range of sectors.

“Partnerships with organisations such as the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, Heart Foundation Walking and The Smith Family, our Community Grants program and funding for local projects that are working to Close the Gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, are among the ways we are making a difference.”

“Our new online platform offers a range of content in an easy-to-access format that can be quickly read and shared.

“We hope people will find the visual content interesting and, where relevant, pass it on to their own audiences,” Ms Marigliani said.
