How to make a payment
You can pay your premium simply and easily using My Medibank.
Follow the steps below to learn how to make a payment on the My Medibank app or My Medibank online.
How to make a payment on the app
Tap Me on the lower right corner of the screen.
On the Manage payments screen, tap Pay premium.
You can choose whether you want to Pay by period (choose between a period or a specific date) or Pay specific amount (pay what you want).
Note: you can also update your payment details here.
You can choose whether you want to pay for a set period (i.e. two weeks) or pay to a specific date - if the latter, proceed with the below; otherwise skip to Step 6.
Tap Pay to a specific date. Tap Add date and select a date to pay up to. The payment amount will be automatically calculated based on the date selected.
Continue to Step 6.
Enter the amount you want to pay and tap Next. The date you are paid up to will be automatically calculated based on the amount entered.
Continue to Step 6.
Tap Pay now. Your payment will be processed and the amount paid will be displayed along with the date your policy is now paid up to.
Tap Finish to return home.
How to make a payment online
Click Payments on either the top or left menu.
Click the Make a payment button or Pay premium on the left menu.
On the Make a payment screen, enter your credit card details and click Next.
Note: this card will not be stored in our system.
You have the option of setting up direct debit so you'll never miss a payment. If you would like to do this, click Set up direct debit and follow the steps in our guide. Otherwise, click No thanks to proceed with the payment.
You can choose whether you want to Pay specific amount or Pay by period.
Enter the amount you want to pay and click Next. The date you are paid up to will be automatically calculated based on the amount entered.

Click Pay now. The amount paid will be displayed along with the date your policy is now paid up to.
Click Done to return to the Payments home page.
