How to pay your premium
Need to change your payment method?
Changing how you pay your premium is easy on My Medibank, either online or on the app.
Here is how to pay your premiums in the way that best suits you.
Paying your premium
What to do: You can set up your direct debit on My Medibank online or the My Medibank app.
For online, click on the Payments tab on the top menu.
For the app, tap on “Me”, then “Manage payments”.
Processing time (once registered): Instant
What to do: Launch the My Medibank app on your smartphone. Don’t have the app? Download from the App Store or Google Play.
How you can pay: Visa, Mastercard
What you need to provide: My Medibank username and password

What to do: Log into My Medibank and select "Payments" from the top menu
How you can pay: Visa, Mastercard
What you need to provide: My Medibank username and password

How you can pay: Visa, Mastercard
What you need to provide: Membership number
Processing time: Instant
What to do: Log into your bank’s internet banking portal
How you can pay: Direct payment from bank account, Visa, Mastercard
What you need to provide: Medibank’s BPAY biller code and your 10-digit reference number. Our biller code is 3210, and you can find your reference number on your invoice.
If you don’t have an invoice handy, working out your reference number is simple. Your reference number is your membership number plus two additional digits from the table below that correspond to the letter at the end of your membership number.
For example, if your membership number is 12345678Y, then your reference number will be 1234567800.

What you need to provide: Medibank’s Post Billpay biller code and your 10-digit reference number. Our biller code is 0824, and you can find your reference number on your invoice.
If you don’t have an invoice handy, working out your reference number is simple. Your reference number is your membership number plus two additional digits from the table below that correspond to the letter at the end of your membership number.
For example, if your membership number is 12345678Y, then your reference number will be 1234567800.
