Module 1: Introduction to stress

We all face stress, and everyone experiences it in different ways. 

You can help reduce the impact of stress by understanding its causes, reasons, and learning how to respond with simple stress management techniques.

Prolonged stress may leave you feeling overwhelmed, affecting your health, work, and relationships. This is when seeking support from a health professional may help.

 

Module 2: Stress busting through exercise

Get your heart rate up because exercise may help reduce stress and improve your mood.  

Exercise doesn’t have to be strenuous or time-consuming, there are several ways you can incorporate it into a busy life. 

 

Module 3: Stress busting with healthy eating

A balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and fibre may boost your mood and lower stress.     

Every positive choice you make toward healthier eating, is a step in the right direction for your mental health.

 

Module 4: The calm zone

Put a stop sign on the day and give yourself time to slow down and relax. 

When you feel stressed, there are relaxation techniques that may help you feel more in control.

Engaging in self-care activities may help lower stress levels and improve quality of life.
